Meet Camryn Elaine

Camryn is a bright and creative 8 year old who dreamed of writing her own book one day and she did just that! After school one afternoon, she came home and told her mom, “I wish I could write a book.” When asked what it would be about, she smiled and shared the story of a little girl named Sunflower who gets lost in the forest and meets magical animal friends who teach her how to be brave.

Just like Sunflower, Camryn is learning to be brave too. She’s a naturally shy girl who sometimes gets nervous around others, but writing, designing, and telling stories gives her a chance to shine. Camryn enjoys playing Minecraft, Roblox, singing, dancing, and recently found a love for graphic design and writing books.

Camryn was also honored as Little Miss New Jersey HBCU Princess in her very first pageant, where she placed as 2nd runner-up! This was a huge accomplishment and the beginning of something truly special. She hopes her story will inspire other kids to be confident, dream big, and never give up.
